At Seltec Electrical Services we offer Kohler manufactured automatic transfer switches. An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) monitors power from the grid. When the grid power is not detected, this device signals the Kohler Generator to start, and transfers power from the generator to the home load center. Kohler ATS with Load Management Control

A load management-controlled system allows for a generator to be more versatile and prioritize electrical needs. Therefore, a smaller generator can be used per National Electrical Code to fulfill the electrical requirements.

ATS MAINTENANCE SERVICES

When it’s time to provide maintenance to your ATS, we follow an efficient process to ensure your system is functioning at its best:


  • Examining all connections. Voltages, current readings, voltage drops, pick-up readings, and time delay settings will all be checked and recorded.
  • Contact Resistance will be computed and recorded.
  • Vacuum and clean the ATS enclosure.
  • Transfer power to ensure proper function.
